Hugely ambitious and a touch grand resort hotel, really sophisticated, with very, very nice personnel. The owners are a Bavarian couple who have deployed Bavarian standards in Brandenburg style. Big pool and grounds, extensive spa, surrounded by the Spreewald’s waterways. Good place for a honeymoon, silver wedding anniversary, etc, and one of the most self-indulgent hotels in Germany.
