					<description><![CDATA[Agree about Dresden as a great short-break destination. It&#039;s beautiful, fascinating and sometimes very sad. It will make you think about the morality of the &quot;just war&quot;. I recommend the Slaughterhouse 5 Walking Tour, but be warned, there is quite a lot of walking as the name indicates and,depending on the guide you get, a lot of nostalgia for the DDR which some might find hard to take. 
You do really need to want to get to Dresden though because of the lack of direct flights and infrequent direct trains from Berlin. Pre-bookable buses run direct to Dresden from some of the railway stations and airports and are quicker than the limited train service. 
Dresden rewards the effort to get there. Go now before Ryanair open it up to Stag Weekends.]]></description>
