One downside: so many German stadiums have running tracks around the pitch, furthering the distance between the game and the spectators. This may seem trivial, but these tracks do detract from the intimacy somewhat.

But overall though, Germany is a wonderful place to watch the game. You’ll find it much cheaper than watching the same standard of football in England. Well done Germany!
