]]> If you’ve got the money, there’s nothing better in this Hanseatic city, especially since most of the centre took a bit of a beating in the war, and is largely modern as a result. The Park Hotel is beautifully set by an (artificial) lake in the middle of the Bürgerpark, right in the city centre. One of the Leading Hotels of the World, it attracts a very refined clientele. The public rooms have a period elegance, but bedrooms are mostly modern décor and fittings.
