It can’t be easy filling such a big manor house in a location which doesn’t have a lot of headline attractions, but it is well placed for visits to Berlin, Potsdam, the Spreewald etc. Luckenwalde itself is a slightly dilapidated former industrial town which used to be a centre of Bauhaus architecture. The original 18th century house has been renovated and has a spa and pool, along with one of the best restaurants in Brandenburg.
